So they call themselves Bristol Vineyard . . . but who are they?
The church was planted in 1995, by Andrew and Ros Wallis, who came to Bristol from South West London Vineyard. Since then we have grown into a community that draws people from all over Bristol and beyond. Bill and Emma Drewett took over from Andrew and Roz in September 2012 and have stepped down from late 2019. Debbie and Alan Foster are our transition leaders as we seek future leadership for BV.
There are over one hundred local Vineyard churches in the UK and we’re all affiliated to Vineyard Churches UK and Ireland (VCUKI). If you want to know what we believe, here’s VCUKI’s Statement of Faith.
If you want to know more about what we’re like, you may want to look at some of our values, here.
But the best way to find out is to come along on a Sunday morning and meet us. We’re really not too scary, and you’ll be made very welcome.
Bristol Vineyard is a company limited by guarantee, and a registered charity (number 1045452).
