The books of prophecy in the Old Testament are some of the most difficult parts of the Bible to understand, so how should we read a text like Isaiah? And then, if we can work out what they’re saying, what’s the point? Do they have anything to say to Christian churches today?
This morning, Bill Drewett tackles both these questions taking the first five chapters of the book of Isaiah as an example. The surprising discovery is that these texts have rather more to say to us than we might expect.
