Bill Drewett continues our series looking at the gifts that God gives his church.
One of the dominant themes in the New Testament’s teaching on gifts is that we’re all different, yet many of us find it very difficult to embrace this idea and put it into practice . As humans we tend to value conformity, feeling secure when we’re the same as everyone else, or trying to get others to fit our own ideas of ‘what people should be like’.
How can we be a church that accepts people in all their variety, the way God does? How can we be a community where we’re all different and all equally valued?
