We get together every Sunday morning at 10.30am. We don’t have our own church building, but we meet at Fairfield School, BS7 9NL.
The entrance to the main car park is on Stottbury Road (look out for our big black banner).
We’d love you to join us for a drink before the service starts. It’s a great opportunity to get to know a few people and find out more about the church before kick-off. We normally serve fresh coffee and tea and a range of cakes, doughnuts and stuff like that from about 10.00am. For the next few weeks we are asking you to bring your own drinks and snacks as we settle back into meeting together in person and we try to minimise covid risks.
What to expect
Our services are surprisingly informal affairs. We really don’t care what you wear, and if something funny happens we won’t try to keep a straight face. We aim to do without any religious jargon and if you feel the need to stretch your legs in the middle of the talk, feel free – we won’t bat an eyelid.
If you’re visiting for the first time, feel free to join in as much or as little as you like. If you’d prefer to sit at the back and observe, that’s fine by us.
On a typical Sunday morning we’ll:
- Worship, led by a band for about 25 minutes.
- Hear stories from around the church and find out about upcoming events.
- Listen to a 25-minute talk. Our recent podcasts will show you what they’re like.
- Invite the Holy Spirit to come as we pray for one another
Most Sundays we have Kids Church at the same time as the adult service. Find out more by clicking the big red button below.
