PHRESH & YOUTH

Worship
The youth are welcome to join in with the whole church community for worship.

TALKY-BIT
After worship, the youth then break out into their own room for the Talky-Bit.  This is an opportunity for the group to air and share their views and experiences on topics raised by the group’s leader.  

The Bible-based topics are geared to stimulate discussions within the group.  These discussions often relate to ‘live’ issues within the group’s lives.  

The leadership strive to make the group environment one in which the youth are able to be honest yet still receive frank advice or be challenged.

PHRESH & YOUTH HOUSEGROUPS

PHRESH & YOUTH also meet on a Friday evening to get a bit deeper into what it means to follow Jesus – working it all out together, the groups often get to eat something and get involved in discussion, action or simply fun activities.

STUFF
We have come to recognise that meaningful relationships speak clearly and compellingly to our youth.  Further, it is only these strong relationships that enable the youth and team members to encourage and support one another.

With this in mind, we are purposeful in creating regular opportunities for building relationships between our youth and team members outside of a Sunday morning or a midweek meeting.

We also look to use one-off events, such as weekends away/houseparties/conferences, to inspire and invigorate our relationships with each other and God.
