Quite simply, we take gifts (usually brand-names) out onto the streets of Bristol with the purpose of giving them all away for free. Of course, exactly what we give away depends on the time and the place - for instance we might give flowers away for Mother's Day, Easter eggs at Easter or cold drinks on a hot summer's day - whatever we do, we aim to demonstrate God's love and kindness to people in a practical way. In God's hands, each act of kindness is an opportunity for him to connect with people: in some cases we might be planting a seed, in others we might be watering a seed already planted. There are several things we love about giving away free stuff: 1. it can be done by anybody at all: no qualifications are needed. 2. it's done in groups: it's a great way to connnect with people inside bristol vineyard. 3. it's low risk: we're giving nice things away for free and we receive lots of smiles! We tend to go out every two weeks on a Saturday morning. it usually lasts an hour or so, but chocolate has been known to disappear much quicker than that!
